Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your Dateply account at any time. This page explains how and what happens.
How to delete
Account deletion is done inside the app: open Settings → Delete Account and confirm. You’ll type DELETE to finalize.
30-day recovery window
Your account is hidden immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. Sign back in any time within that window to restore everything.
What is removed
- • Your profile, photos, bio, and preferences
- • Applications, matches, and private messages
- • Moments, community posts & comments, and friendships
- • Private location data and compatibility questionnaire
What may be retained
Certain records (such as moderation and safety records) may be retained as needed for safety, fraud prevention, and legal obligations, with media cleared on a schedule. Aggregated, anonymized data that no longer identifies you may also remain.
Deleting your account is not the same as logging out or pausing. Logging out keeps your account active; pausing hides you from discovery but keeps your account. Only Delete Account permanently removes your data after the recovery window.
